Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of The Dental Practitioners About Temporomandibular Disorder in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Region of India – A Cross – Sectional Study

Introduction: Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) is a disorder including temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and of the masticatory muscles their associated structures. TMD accounts for most common orofacial pains arising from musculoskeletal origin or non-dental with prevalence 5-12% in population.
 Aim: The aim current study was to assess knowledge, attitude practice dental practitioners about Union Territory Jammu & Kashmir Ladakh region India.
 Materials Methods: A cross-sectional conducted wherein self-structured questionnaire, which consisted 31 close ended questions, sent online via Google forms residing India. total 500 subjects selected by Convenience sampling, were contacted study, out only 206 returned completed questionnaire who included study.
 Results: statistical significance noted between knowledge (-0.22), (0.03) (-0.26), ( -0.03) (0.22), (0.26).
 Conclusion: results obtained analyzing data present reflect that physiological anatomy along management symptomatic insufficient.
